Nina Munteanu, Lunenburg, Nova Scotia

Nina Munteanu is a Canadian author and ecologist, who enjoys world travel. She has been tasting her way for years around the world with feline companion Toulouse LeTrek in exotic places from Bangkok to Paris. Her articles and award-nominated short stories have been translated into several languages in magazines throughout the world. Nina’s third book, Darwin’s Paradox, is a science fiction eco-thriller that explores humanity’s evolution with intelligent machine and nature. It was nominated for the Aurora, Canada’s top prize for science fiction and its prequel Angel of Chaos was released by Dragon Moon Press in October 2010 and was a finalist for the Foreword Book of the Year. Her newest book Outer Diverse, first of The Splintered Universe trilogy, was released by Starfire World Syndicate in October 2011. Nina is frequently invited to speak at scientific and writing conferences, schools and bookclubs.
